She's finally a mum: Lily gives birth to a little girl one year on from miscarriage pain

By Ben Todd and Nicola Jones

Lily Cooper last night gave birth to a little girl.

The pop star had her longed for first child in the early evening on Friday.

And it comes just a year after the 26-year-old tragically had a miscarriage when she was six months pregnant.

Lily Cooper had last displayed her baby bump at Halloween, where she tweeted: 'Me, bump and pumpkin, i did it last night during x-factor.'

It was not known last night if her husband Sam Cooper - who she married in June - was with her at the birth.

However, last night a close friend admitted the birth had been ‘all good.’
A spokesman, though, declined to comment.

Her DJ, close friend and former boyfriend Seb Chew last night Tweeted: ‘sending out love to lily, sam and mini cooper......YES.’

The singer told fans on Twitter in October she had begun to suffer from Braxton Hicks – false labour pains which can begin as many as six weeks before the due date.

Reveal: The singer's close friend and ex-boyfriend Seb Chew revealed the news on Twitter

New life: Lily Cooper, pictured at a Reebok party in July, is now living in the Cotswolds after marrying husband Sam Cooper in June

Marital bliss: The singer has changed her surname from Allen to Cooper after marrying husband Sam in rural Gloucestershire

During a newspaper interview in September Lily said her mum, film producer Alison Owen was desperate to know the sex of her grandchild-to-be: ‘It’s between me and my husband. She thinks she knows what it is and whenever she calls me she refers to the baby as Betty.’

The birth is particularly poignant for the couple who have suffered miscarriage pain in the past.

Last November the retired singer was rushed to hospital with a suspected viral infection and later lost a baby boy at six months.

Me, bump and pumpkin: Heavily pregnant Lily Allen shares a spooky picture as she enjoys Halloween

By Sarah Bull

Me, bump and pumpkin: Lily Allen shared a spooky picture of herself, which showed off her huge baby bump, on Twitter today

She's been taking it easy ahead of the arrival of her child with husband Sam Cooper.

But today Lily Allen shared a picture of herself which showed her ever-growing bump in all its glory.

The 26-year-old singer posted the shot on her Twitter page, with the caption: 'Me, bump and pumpkin, i did it last night during x-factor.'

Holding her newly-carved pumpkin, which featured an owl design, Lily looked radiant as she posed for the photograph.

Lily is due next month and recently celebrated the impending arrival with a baby shower held by her friends.

She tweeted earlier this month: 'En route to baby shower, bit scared!'
Lily has been using Twitter to update her fans about how she's doing during the pregnancy.

Earlier this year, Lily revealed she was less than impressed when husband Sam dubbed her his 'little Fat Controller'.

She wrote: 'My husband just called me his "little Fat Controller" - like off of Thomas the Tank Engine, so not LOL.'

And last week Lily tweeted fans that she is experiencing Braxton Hicks, known as false labour, which can begin up to six weeks before the birth.

Lily, who tweets as MrsLRCooper, wrote 'Weetabix' on Sunday, before adding on Monday: 'Toni Braxton Hinda Hicks.'

Lily, who lives in Gloucestershire with Cooper, whom she married in the summer, has often said her dream is to live in the country and have babies.

In a recent interview with ES magazine, Lily extolled the virtues of living in the countryside, and revealed she has turned into something of a domestic goddess.

Here's Frankie! Coleen Rooney tweeted a picture of her son Kai dressed up as Frankenstein

She said: 'I’m happiest in the kitchen, leafing through an interior design book, sticking recipes in my scrapbook, cosying up to the Aga, stroking the dogs, fielding phone calls from tradesmen.

'Believe it or not, I’m 26. And I used to be a pop star. I know. Weird right?'

Meanwhile, Coleen Rooney also took to her Twitter page today to share a picture of her son Kai, who turns two on Tuesday.

Posting a shot of the tot dressed up as Frankenstein, Coleen wrote: 'Little Frankie!!!!'

Vision in white: Kelly Brook looks angelic as she shows off her holiday tan in a stunning white minidress on a night out with Thom

By JODY THOMPSON

Golden couple: Kelly Brook showed off her holiday tan in a dazzling white outfit on a night out in London with boyfriend Thom Evans

She might have spent last week far from boyfriend Thom Evans's sight as she enjoyed a working holiday on the Italian island of Ischia - but Kelly Brook was making sure her beau only had eyes for her last night.

Kelly, 31, looked angelic and bronzed from the Mediterranean sun in a white two piece featuring a tight miniskirt and a trendy boxy sleeveless top.

Her look was finished with some nude platform stilettos and a black snakeskin clutch bag.

Stunning: The model was out at the Reebok Zig Tech and Wallpaper Magazine art exhibition private view at the Great Room in Howick Place

Hunk of love: The pair looked as smitten as ever with each other - with former rugby player Thom no doubt glad to have her back home after her working holiday

Thom, 26, meanwhile was showing off his he-vage in a plunge necked T-shirt, with a macho leather jacket and dark jeans with black shiny shoes.

She was a guest with hunky former rugby playing boyfriend Thom Evans at the Reebok Zig Tech and Wallpaper Magazine exhibition private view in London.

Also there was Lily Allen, who looked glowing with pregnancy though coyly hid her bump behind her handbag.

Party girl: Kelly then literally let her hair down at the Red Bull Hip Hop: A Cultural Odyssey book launch party across town

Kelly and Thom made something of a night of it and after the art exhibition, at the Red Bull Hip Hop A Cultural Odyssey Book Launch in town - where Kelly literally let her hair down.

Perhaps they pair are getting their partying in while they can.

Model Kelly, who tragically lost her unborn baby girl in May five months into her pregnancy, revealed this week that she and Thom are trying for another baby.

According to this week's Closer magazine, she has told friends they are keen to conceive and start a family together.

Keeping mum: A pregnant and glowing Lily Allen was at the earlier private view and kept her growing bump hidden from view

Famous friends: Lily and Kelly were all smiles as they posed up inside the venue

A source told Closer magazine: 'Kelly says Thom's been her rock this year and she's totally in love with him. They're going to try for another baby, planned this time.

'She says she's learnt so much about herself as a person this past year and she is going with what she feels is right.

'She's not interested in waiting until she gets married, she just wants to get on with it! She says she's going to let her heart take over from her head for a bit.'

Lily sadly shared Kelly's heartache when she had a stillborn baby last November six months into her pregnancy.

She was wearing a black sparkly maternity frock with a blue, white and black patterned scarf, black cardigan and some black patent stilettos.

The Smile singer revealed at her wedding last month that she and husband Sam Cooper are expecting again.

It's thought she's around four and a half months pregnant.

Kelly and Thom later headed to the Hip-Hop: A Cultural Odyssey book launch, where they mixed with other stars including Eliza Doolittle, Jameela Jamil and Mr Hudson.

Lily Allen's sister raided by bailiffs over unpaid council tax (at the flat she rents from Daniel Craig)

By Lara Gould

Sisters: Lily Allen (left) and Sarah Owen launched a clothing line together -its flagship store closed after ten months

Bailiffs have visited the home of Lily Allen’s sister over an unpaid council tax bill of nearly £1,800.

The visit by debt collectors came just days after Sarah Owen and singer Lily were forced to deny that the London fashion store they run together had closed its doors.

The bailiffs went to the £300,000 flat Sarah rents from James Bond star Daniel Craig to discuss the debt after Brent Council obtained a court order.

Sarah, 32, starred in a Channel 4 fly-on-the-wall documentary with half-sister Lily earlier this year, which charted their efforts to open fashion store Lucy In Disguise in Covent Garden.

Last week it appeared the shop may have closed just ten months after its launch.

But the sisters insisted they had moved the business to a temporary shop nearby and they had signed a lease for another permanent store which is due to open next month.

Lucy in Disguise: Lily Allen (left) and Sister Sarah Owen insist their clothing line is still going strong and plan to open another shop within a month

Meanwhile a spokesman for Sarah, whose flat is in a sought-after street in Queen’s Park, North-West London, where houses sell for an average of £1.4 million, declined to comment on the council tax bill.

Failure to pay council tax is punishable with up to three months in prison.

Singer Rachel Stevens and rock star Noel Gallagher’s former wife Meg Mathews attended the opening of Lucy In Disguise, which rents out designer vintage clothes.

The shop also sells clothing online designed by Sarah and Lily, who married Sam Cooper last month.

In one episode of Riches To Rags, the three-part TV series about the store, 26-year-old Lily was shown storming out of a meeting when a focus group criticised her vintage frocks, while Sarah was described as ‘really good at partying’.

The show also featured retail expert Mary Portas voicing her fears that their business model was flawed.

A source confirmed bailiffs had visited Sarah’s flat, adding: ‘The debts go back a few months. Obviously as a tenant she is liable for paying the council tax.’

A spokesman for 007 actor Daniel Craig also declined to comment.

A source said: ‘Daniel owns the ¬property, but he doesn’t live there ¬and the liability for paying the council tax does not lie with him.’

A Brent Council spokesman said: ‘A liability order was obtained for non-payment of council tax for the current year for the sum of £1,792.93 at Brent Magistrates’ Court on June 7.

‘It gives the power to recover the debt and the methods we can use are bailiffs or tax deduction from earnings.

‘When you are a tenant you have to register for council tax and in 99 per cent of cases a tenancy agreement states that the tenant is liable for paying council tax.’

Miss Owen and Miss Allen share the same mother, film producer Alison Owen.

Bonnes vacances! Lily Allen and Sam Cooper celebrate their honeymoon with a kiss in Paris

By Sarah Bull

Bonnes vacances! Lily Allen and husband Sam Cooper are celebrating their marriage with a honeymoon in Paris

Lily Allen and Sam Cooper are celebrating their new life together as husband and wife with a honeymoon in Paris.

The couple, who married earlier this month, have decided to enjoy a romantic break in the French capital ahead of their planned visit to the Glastonbury music festival next week.

Lily, who is three months pregnant, and Sam grabbed some food at the world-famous Brasserie Lipp before taking in some culture at the Musée d'Orsay.

The 26-year-old singer dressed casually in a beige cardigan, jeans and black pumps, accessorised with her favourite black Chanel handbag for the day out with her new husband.

As well as working as a chic addition to her outfit, Lily's handbag also hid her burgeoning baby bump.

Lily and Sam tied the knot at St James the Great Church in Cranham, near Stroud, in Gloucestershire on 11th June.

Following the service, Lily tweeted: 'I had the most amazing wedding, thank you to everyone who went to such extraordinary efforts to make it that way.'

And their wedding day was made even more special by the fact that Lily's groom Sam announced that the singer is pregnant.

A friend told the Mail on the day: 'There were tears all around.

'This is the happiest day of Lily and Sam's lives and they are so in love. This is the icing on the wedding cake!'

The news marks the end of a heartbreaking few months for Lily after she lost the much-longed for baby boy at six months pregnant in November.

Casual style: Lily accessorised her beige cardigan and blue jeans with a black Chanel handbag

Busy bees: Sam gives his new wife a hug as they enjoy their break in Paris

Her appearance in her lace custom-made vintage-style dress sparked a rush of rumours that she was expecting.

And now designer Delphine Manivet has revealed Lily had planned to be pregnant for her big day, and knew she would be having a baby when she chose the dress back in January.

She told Grazia magazine: 'We knew from the beginning - way back in January - that Lily wanted to get pregnant, so I designed the dress she wore underneath in silk tulle to be comfortable over a little bump.

'We were very excited when she told us the news. It was beautiful.'

The bride DID wear Chanel: The Lagerfeld dress Lily Allen wore to the reception

By Lauren Paxman

Evening gown: Lily Allen admires Lagerfeld's sketch and tries on her custom-designed Chanel dress, which she wore to the wedding reception

While Kate Middleton kept us guessing over her choice of wedding dress designer, Lily Allen's decision was all but confirmed months ago.

The singer hinted that Lagerfeld would be designing her gown while posing with him at Chanel's Paris Fashion Week show in March... and then confused everyone by wearing a Delphine Manivet dress down the aisle instead.

But there is a very logical explanation - like the Duchess of Cambridge, Lily had two wedding outfits, one for the ceremony and one for the reception.

The 26-year-old revealed all on her Twitter page after Lagerfeld uploaded an image of Lily wearing the white dress he had designed, along with a sketch of his creation.

The images were accompanied by a caption explaining that they were taken by Benoît Peverelli at a fitting in Chanel's Paris headquarters, 31 rue Cambon.

Fashion blogger Laura LaRue tweeted a link to Lagerfeld's picture saying: 'Confused? Me too.'

Lily wrote straight back, explaining: 'I wore my BEAUTIFUL Chanel dress to our reception.'

There are many similarities between the two dresses. Both had a transparent layer which went right up to the bride's neck.

The Delphine Manivet gown was lacy, and had a sweetheart neckline underneath, while the Chanel number featured beautiful floaty sleeves that were puffy to the elbow and then tight to the wrist.

It also had intricate embroidery on the bustier, and looks like it was semi-transparent below that.

Radiant bride: Lily, with husband Sam Cooper, in the Delphine Manivet dress she wore to her wedding ceremony, which also featured transparent sleeves and detailing on the bottom of the skirt and was designed to accommodate her baby bump

Both gowns had additional detailing on the bottom half of the big skirts.

Manivet has revealed that her gown was intentionally designed to be roomy as Lily has been trying for a baby since January.

The singer's husband, Sam Cooper, announced his wife was four months pregnant on their wedding day - to gasps of joy from his guests.

We imagine there were similar exclamations of affectionate surprise when they laid eyes on the radiant bride in each of her stunning gowns.

Smile! Lily Allen tells friends she's pregnant... on her wedding day

By Katie Nicholl and Lara Gould

So beautiful: Lily couldn't wipe the smile off her face as she prepared to enter the church to marry Sam Cooper

Smile singer Lily Allen had two reasons to beam from ear to ear today – as her new husband told guests at their wedding reception that she is at least 12 weeks pregnant.

Overjoyed Sam Cooper revealed the news in front of friends and family after the 26-year-old bride showed off a small bump in a vintage-inspired lace wedding gown by French designer Delphine Manivet.

Friends who witnessed Lily marry builder Sam, 33, say she is ‘ecstatic’ to be expecting again, following two devastating miscarriages.

Radiant: Pregnant Lily beams as she leaves church as the new Mrs Cooper

Lily, whose son was stillborn in November, six months into her pregnancy, has made no secret of her desire to settle down and start a family.

‘Lily is pregnant and she is marrying the man of her dreams. She is truly over the moon and so ecstatically happy she has shed tears of joy,’ a source revealed. ‘We have all been hoping and praying for good news and this is the best news ever.’

Ms Manivet, who is based in Paris, said: ‘It’s beautiful that she is pregnant, and I am very happy for her.’

She added: ‘You can see, of course, the little stomach – it looked very cute with the dress.’

The singer is said to be taking things slowly, given her medical history.

Father of the bride: Lily with Keith Allen, before the ceremony

Joy: Lily with her new husband Sam Cooper... displaying a hint of a baby bump through her wedding dress

Guests at St James the Great Church in the picturesque Cotswolds village of Cranham included comedian Harry Enfield and television presenter Angus Deayton and his partner, scriptwriter Lise Mayer, who cheered and sprayed the newlyweds with champagne as they emerged arm-in-arm as man and wife.

Mr Enfield, 50, is a former partner of Lily’s mother, film producer Alison Owen, and helped to raise the Smile singer and her siblings. Afterwards, he said: ‘It was very emotional.’

The bride arrived just before midday in a dark-green chauffeur-driven Bentley accompanied by her father, actor Keith Allen, 58, who gave her away.

Quirky: Lily accessorised with platform heels, left, and cricket-themed puppets, right

Happy couple: The couple emerged to the waiting crowds as husband and wife for the first time

The bridesmaids included the singer’s best friend, TV presenter Miquita Oliver, 27.

As she made her way towards the church, Lily showed no sign of nerves, smiling broadly and only stopping for a last-minute make-up touch-up. Meanwhile, her younger brother, actor Alfie Allen, 24, was seen puffing heavily on a cigarette before the ceremony.

Inside the church, the 105 invited guests, seated on wooden pews, were treated to music by the church choir and a local organist.

The service was led by Canon Michael Irving, who has revealed the couple chose not to write their own vows and Lily did not agree to ‘obey’ her husband. Canon Irving carried out the funeral of the couple’s stillborn son last year.

Picturesque: The couple will tie the knot in the stunning church of St James the Great

Lily and Mr Cooper have not signed a pre-nuptial agreement, despite her estimated £6million fortune. The singer told friends she had no intention of signing an ‘unromantic agreement’ with her husband-to-be.

After yesterday’s service, the newlyweds were driven back to their £3million 17th Century country home for a ‘cricket tea’ wedding reception with 300 guests.

They will honeymoon at Glastonbury, where they met in 2009. They are understood to have arranged two luxury £1,000 tepees, in which they will camp with family and friends.

Last night, a spokesman for the singer declined to comment.

What a beautiful bride! Lily Allen looks lovely in lace in vintage inspired gown as she weds Sam Cooper

By Sarah Bull and Sarah Fitzmaurice

Mrs Cooper: Lily Allen was smiling broadly as she emerged from the church with her new husband Sam Cooper

Leaving the church with her new husband, Lily Allen couldn't have looked happier today.

As she made her way to the vintage Bentley car the 26-year-old singer had a broad smile on her face as Sam Cooper placed a protective arm around her waist.

The couple were grinning from ear to ear savouring their first few moments as husband and wife.

The newlyweds made their way to their vintage Bentley and Lily wave to her fans.

She even obliged many of them by posing for pictures before getting into the car to drive away with her new husband.

Happy couple: The couple emerged to the waiting crowds as husband and wife for the first time

Husband and wife: Lily Allen and Sam Cooper emerge as husband as wife

Earlier, Lily had looked radiant as she arrived at St James church in Cranham giving fans a first glimpse of her Chanel wedding dress.

As she greeted crowds of her fans gathering outside the church she looked stunning in the Delphine Manivet creation which appeared to have taken inspiration from the styles of 1920s.

Looking dapper: Sam looked extremely smart in a navy suit and a slick haircut as he and Lily shared a joke as they made their way to their car

While the lace dress nipped in her waist it also boasted a fishtail skirt and Lily was wearing an elaborate lace headdress with a flower detail on the side of her veil.

The bodice of the dress was covered with lace detail with sleeves in a similar style to that worn by the Duchess of Cambridge in April.

In her hands Lily carried an small and delicate rose bouquet which mixed cream, peach and baby blue flowers together.

Blushing bride: Lilly Allen was beaming as she arrived at St James The Great Church in Cranham to wed Sam Cooper today

She waved to the waiting crowds and was beaming broadly as she made her way into the church with her father.

And she and Keith appeared to share a joke together as they made their way to the ceremony.

Lily Allen couldn't hide her excitement yesterday as she arrived for the final rehearsal ahead of her wedding this weekend to fiancé Sam Cooper.

Big smiles: Lily beamed from ear to ear as she arrived and had help with her long veil before heading into the church to get married

Warm greeting: Lily waved to fans as she made her way into the church to marry Sam Cooper

Yesterday the singer had looked radiant as she arrived at St James the Great church in Cranham, Gloucestershire, for some final preparations before her big day.

Wearing a pretty blue dress, beige cardigan and green wedges, Lily clutched a folder as she made her way into the venue.

Painter and decorator Sam, meanwhile, went for a more laid-back look in jeans, a black jumper and brown shoes.

Daddy duties: Keith and Lily shared a joke as he walked her to the church

Helping hands: As Lily waved to her fans her dress and long veil were carried for her

The couple were met at the venue by Lily's father Keith Allen, who entertained his family with a song on the ukulele, before they did a run-through in the church with their vicar.

Lily and Sam are thought to be going for a traditional English wedding, judging by their save-the-date card sent earlier this year which featured a mock-up of the couple on the back of a tractor.

Joining the celebrations: Angus Deaton and Lily's sister Sarah head into the church ahead of the wedding

Beautiful bridesmaids: Lily had a number of bridesmaids including some young girls who were dressed in white

Bride's help: While the younger bridesmaids wore dresses similar to Lily's the adult bridesmaids, who included Miquita Oliver wore peach gowns

The couple's wedding invitation was also revealed - a simple design featuring a pencil drawing of the church on the front and a blue ribbon down the side.

It is understood that the newlyweds will then throw a lavish reception for 300 in the garden of Lily’s country bolthole near Stroud.

The road which runs past the tiny church and surrounding public footpaths will be closed by police from 7.30am to around 1pm, with only the wedding party, guests and residents allowed through.

Getting ready for the big day: Lily looked pretty in a blue dress, beige cardigan and green wedges while her fiancé Sam Cooper went for a more laid-back look in jeans and a jumper

Picturesque: The couple will tie the knot in the stunning church of St James the Great

One resident said the couple are hoping to enjoy an English country wedding.

‘She is very generously going to use the village choir,’ she said.

‘She wants to have a typical village wedding. She is very sweet.

'She has come to the village and is asking for help where she needs it. We hope it goes well.’

And it seems Lily was more than a little excited about her big day.

Police protection: Lily Allen's wedding has plenty of officers to help make her big day run safe and soundly

Asked on Twitter by Claudia Winkleman how she was feeling, Lily tweeted back: 'I'm GREAT, I'm getting MARRIED EEEEEK !!!!!'

Lily and Sam have been together since July 2009 but they've been friends for years.

In the past Lily has described Sam as the "love of her life, saying: 'Sam treats me differently. He's told me he'll look after me forever.

'That's what I've always wanted - someone to look after me.

'We've never had one argument and there's nothing about him that annoys me.'

Lily Allen and her sister put on their own Disguise for the launch of their latest fashion outlet in Dublin

By Daily Mail Reporter

Sisters are doing it for themselves: Lily Allen and Sarah Owen pose for pictures at the launch of their collection at Brown Thomas in Dublin

One of the best ways to promote your own fashion line is of course to wear items from it to show just how good your products are.

Which is exactly what Lily Allen and her sister Sarah Owen have been doing with their Lucy In Disguise range of womenswear.

The pop singer and her sibling both wore outfits comprised of items from their range when they paid a visit to Dublin to launch their new collection.

Lily put on a red bandana print dress, (priced at £160), teamed with a long beige cardigan and matching heels.

While sister Sarah sported a turquoise floor-length puff sleeve maxi (priced £285).

After a short photocall the Allen sisters were keen to spend time meeting and greeting fans at the Brown Thomas store in the Irish capital.

Doing it their own way: The sisters both wore designs from the Lucy In Disguise range - Lily put on a red bandana print dress, (priced at £160), while Sarah sported a turquoise floor-length puff sleeve maxi (£285)

The launch of their collection at the designer outlet follows a similar event in Dubai earlier this week.

Lily and Sarah extended the Lucy in Disguise brand from London to Dubai with a launch at luxury fashion retail outlet Boutique 1, in JBR The Walk, Dubai Marina.

Their collection, green or not, is modelled on some of the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s styles, shapes and fabrics that have come through the sisters' hands at their vintage store in London's Covent Garden.

Meet and greet: Lily and her sister spent much of the launch spending time with fans who'd turned out for their appearance

Lily told Middle Eastern website The National: 'When we were just collecting stuff for the shop in London we would buy things that we knew weren't necessarily going to work on the shop floor but we were drawn to for some reason and when we'd accumulated a massive pile of this stuff that we couldn't sell we thought, well, we've got to do something with it, and we used them as our inspiration pieces for this collection, and for future collections as well."

The singer then went on to explain why she has quit touring with her music.

She told The National: 'I've found a partner who I'd like to spend more time with, and you know I don't think that I really wanna be away from him every night of the week.

'It's difficult to commit to spending a year and a half, two years away from home, that's a really big commitment. I feel like I've achieved what I wanted to achieve, and I don't need to push it forever; I'm not that kind of person.

'I'm enjoying not getting up at 5 o'clock in the morning to check into a flight, get off the flight, get on the stage, get on a flight, get off the flight, get on the stage.

'You know, I don't really think that the fame aspect has changed necessarily; I think people are still just as interested as they were.'
