Little Suri lost: Miss Cruise left in tears as she nearly takes off without her comforter

She might be a style icon for many but at the end of the day Suri Cruise is still a little girl.

And while her wardrobe might be packed full of fashionable clothes there is one accessory that the she can’t be without – her blanket.

Suri, five, was left devastated when her favourite comforter was absent from the helicopter she and Katie Holmes were travelling in.

She was seen clutching several toys and followed by her mom the little girl clenched her eyes shut and became very tense as she headed towards the already whirring chopper.

Once on board, Suri let rip a barrage of tears, sobbing as she stared out the window.

Scared: The little girl appears to be scared of the noisy vehicle and has to be carried by her mother


The little girl could not be consoled and was left with tears streaming down her face as she and her mother waited for the private aircraft to fly off.

But luckily just before take-off a member of staff managed to find her blanket and get it to the little girl in the nick of time.

Little Suri’s mood changed and she was seen waving gratefully to the man who had helped her.

Luxury: Most children have to make do with their parents cars and public transport


Katie, 32, seemed kept her cool as she sat on the seat next to Suri and just let her calm herself down.

The Dawson's Creek star has been hard at work in New York promoting her new movie Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark.

Her husband, Tom Cruise has been splitting his time between LA, Miami and New York as he works on his own movie Rock Of Ages.

Not happy: Suri didn't look in great spirits as she left her hotel earlier in the day with her mother


The actress recently returned to the Big Apple after briefly jetting back to LA to make an appearance on So You Think You Can Dance.

The couple manage to spend quality time together as often as their schedules allow.
