Tattoo removal: Lauren Goodger lies down at the Skin Clinic to erase her Mark tattoo from her crotch
It was a twist ending that could only happen in The Only Way is Essex, which saw Lauren Goodger lasering off her Mark Wright tattoo just moments before he proposed.
After thinking that their on/off relationship was finally over, Lauren made the decision to erase Mark from her life, and her skin.
So she headed to the skin clinic to have his name removed permanently from her crotch.

But as Mark heard the shocking news about his stamp being removed, he raced off to find his true love to quickly pop the question.
Despite Lauren telling her sister Nicola that she was completely finished with her ex, it seems she still found it in her heart to give Mark yet another chance, and said yes to his proposal.
She was persuaded by a large diamond ring and Mark’s sultry eyes as he declared his love for her after ten years together.
The couple, both 24, became officially engaged at the all romantic Sugar Hut in Essex, meaning Mark has given up his playboy lifestyle to finally settle down.
Throughout the last series Mark toyed with his ex’s emotions as he flaunted a relationship with 19-year-old Lucy Mecklenburgh and a fling with Sam Faiers, 20, in front of her.

Whoops! Just after the tattoo was removed, Mark ended up proposing to Lauren
In-between filming the series Mark also briefly dated Playboy model and I’m a Celebrity contestant Kayla Collins, who is now back in the US.
And despite speculation that their engagement is fake, to enhance the storyline of the ITV2 show, Lauren has insisted this isn’t the case.
When one of Lauren’s followers on Twitter said the engagement was clearly fake and Mark would go back to his exes Sam and Lucy, Lauren took a stand.
She tweeted: ‘Of course its not u fool then 2 r acting playing the game! The truth is I’ve been with mark 10 yrs not the others! Clearly its real!’ [sic]

Lauren also said that last night’s episode was filmed a week ago and that they are definitely engaged.
But his ex Kayla Collins isn’t as convinced as Lauren that they’ll make a happy couple, saying Mark will only be unhappy with her.
She told New! Magazine: ‘I am a little upset. I was praising Mark last week, saying there’s a possibility we could get back together, so I’m shocked that he ran back to Lauren.
‘I think he’s making a mistake and I texted him to hell him.’
