Fake tan fail! Gemma Collins orange skin tone matches the interior of the rickshaw carrying her home from ITV bash

By Sarah Fitzmaurice

As an Essex girl she never leaves the house without several layers of fake tan.

And last night was no exception for TOWIE star Gemma Collins who ensured she had plenty of colour for an evening on the town.

After enjoying the ITV summer party at Aura nightclub, the voluptuous TV star hopped into a rickshaw with her co-star Ricky Rayment.

Blending into the background: Gemma Collins was seen sporting a tan the same colour as a rickshaw as she headed home last night

The bold orange hue of the vehicle's interior matched her skin tone perfectly - making it hard to tell exactly where she ended and the rickshaw began!

Bubbly Gemma gave a thumbs up to photographers and pouted away in the spotlight as she continues to enjoy her 15 minutes of fame.

Gemma launched a plus-sized clothing range earlier this week, and was dressed in a tight black dress with a white lace pattern from the range.

It revealed plenty of flesh, but she didn't seem to mind.

Having a ball: The TOWIE star appeared to be in great spirits as usual as she posed with Ricky in the back of a rickshaw

Gemma and Ricky were joined by a whole host of their co-stars including Lydia Bright and Joey Essex as well as many famous faces from ITV shows at the bash.

Amanda Holden looked fabulous in a caped yellow creation, while Melanie Sykes opted for a navy lacy number.

Yesterday it emerged that Gemma has been criticised by the Advertising Standards Authority for posting promotional tweets.

The reality TV star, 31, posted two messages on Twitter in April regarding salon chain Toni & Guy which were not clearly labelled as advertising.

The ASA ruled tweets were marketing communications and should have been labelled as advertising.

Collins enthused about a hair cut at a branch of Toni & Guy in Lakeside Shopping Centre in Thurrock.

The former car saleswoman then encouraged her 564,801 Twitter followers to visit the salon and receive 10 per cent discount if they mentioned her name.

A Toni & Guy spokesperson said they had given her a free haircut and she agreed she would mention it on the micro-blogging network.

They insisted it was a 'spur of the moment' decision between the salon and Collins.
