Giving her blessing: Denise Welch meets ex-husband Tim Healy's new cleaner girlfriend

They have both moved on to different partners since they announced they announced last month that their marriage was over.

And now it would seem that Denise Welch has given her blessing to estranged partner Tim Healy's new love.

According to reports today, the Loose Women star met with Joan Anderton and gave the relationship her blessing.

Denise, 53, is seeing party planner Lincoln Townley, 39, after they met in a club last April.

And she said of her toy boy: 'I love him very much. It’s early days, we’re very happy and I love the bones of him.'

The couple went public earlier this month for the first time since they met when they attended the cast change party for the Wizard Of Oz musical at the London Palladium.

Denise was first linked to Townley in January but she initially ignored the reports and put on a show of unity with Healy, who she married in 1988.

But on February 6, she broke down as she revealed she had split from Healy live on Loose Women.

She said: 'I just want to say, this is going to be really difficult for me... My family made a decision that we would talk about this today. Tim and I separated some time ago.

'So I'm not having an affair, we have been living our own lives for some time now. We're all just going to move forward as a family. Tim and I are still going to be co-parents and we love each other very much.'
