Banned: EastEnders star Shona McGarty was asked to leave an Asda store after an incident with yoghurt last week
EastEnders actress Shona McGarty was asked to leave an Asda store after security guards spotted her playing with yoghurt.
The soap star, 20, was caught apparently 'smearing herself suggestively' with the yoghurt during a shopping trip with boyfriend and co-star Matt Lapinskas, 25.
The pair were reported to security by another shopper who was offended by their larking about with food products.
'It was disgusting,' a source told The Sun newspaper. 'The man was opening up pots and looked as if he was throwing it around.'
'Then the girl started to smear it over herself in a suggestive manner.
'I had my kids aged ten and nine with me and they certainly don't need to see that in the shopping aisles of Asda.'
A spokesperson for the Watford, Herts branch made light of the incident, but confirmed that it took place.

'This isn't us being Albert squares,' they told The Sun. 'As with any customer found to be causing a ruckus in our stores, we politely asked the culprits to leave so they didn't offend other shoppers.'
A spokesperson for EastEnders is yet to respond to Mail Online's request for comment.
Shona and Matt began dating in September last year following her split from another co-star, Ashley Kumar.
