She might be heavily pregnant but Jessica Simpson isn’t slowing down.

The 31-year-old singer joined Nicole Richie to promote their new reality show Fashion star in California earlier today.

But her day didn't end there and Jessica was seen stepping out onto the red carpet heading to the NBC after-party.

The singer and fashion entrepreneur didn't let her pregnancy get in the way of style and she stepped out in a pair of fierce studded heels.

Jessica wasn't the only one stepping out at the NBC Universal 2012 Winter TCA Tour All-Star Party in Pasadena tonight.

She was joined by her new co-star Nicole Richie, who she is teaming up with on her latest project Fashion star where both women will be acting as mentors to aspiring fashion designers.

Nicole attended the NBC Universal Press Tour party in a pair of sequined trousers and an oversized pink jacket.

She's still got it! Elle Macpherson will host Fashion Star and is also an executive producer on the reality show

Meanwhile Elle Macpherson showed off her supermodel strut in a cut out ensemble and was sporting a fetching dark tan.

Elle will host the fashion focused show and will also act as executive producer.

Jessica, who is expecting her first child with fiancé EricJohnson showed off her baby bump in a fern green Roberto Cavalli dress which clung to her curves.

Jessica teamed her manicure with the golden beaded embellishment down the front of her dress and looked incredibly glamourous as a mother-to-be.

In fact it appears the pregnancy suits the singer and she appeared to be showing off a glow on her face.

As well as speaking about the talent show, which will provide a platform for aspiring designers to show off their work, Jessica also spoke about her own fashion empire.

The singer told reporters: ‘The next thing you will see from the Jessica Simpson collection is maternity.’

Mother-of-two Nicole was also sat on stage during the 2012 Winter TCA tour held at The Langham Huntington in Pasadena today.

Ms Richie donned a simple camel coloured shift dress by Chloe which boasted silver embellishment.

The fashion-forward lady also showed off her own designs with House of Harlow 1960 jewellery.

While Jessica and Nicole mentor the young hopefuls the show will be presented by supermodel Elle Macpherson.

The Australian stunner, who will also serve as a producer on the show also joined in on the promotion today.

While Jessica certainly isn't slowing down in the lead up to her pregnancy she has been thinking about what will happen after she gives birth.

The reality TV star, who will no doubt be feeling the pressure to shed the pregnancy pounds, has decided her 'thinspiration' is actress Jessica Alba's.

She posted on her Twitter page: 'New goal: look like @jessicaalba after baby. Job well done lady!'


And the 31-year-old's compliment did not go unnoticed by the Sin City star, who gave birh to her second daughter Haven just four months ago.

She quoted Simpson's remark on her own Twitter page and gushed that the Newlyweds star was 'so sweet'.
