Marcus Collins dedicates his duet with Gary Barlow to his mother in an emotional performance
Marcus Collins soared into tomorrow night's final show and showed that he hasn't forgotten his roots.
The Liverpudlian dedicated his second song to his mother after a tear jerking duet with Gary Barlow.
The 23-year-old hairdresser sang She's Always a Woman with his mentor and revealed exactly why it means so much to him.
Before the performance he said: 'Over the years, my mum has had to sacrifice so much for me. There's a lot at stake and I don't want to let her down.'
The emotional contestant added: 'This is something I want to achieve, I want to say, yes I did that. This is what I want.'
Marcus and Gary's duet was moving and the pair have enjoyed working together over the past few weeks.

Marcus said: 'It's a dream come true to sing with Gary Barlow, it has been incredible.'
Gary, who was wearing a red velvet blazer, told Dermot 'O’Leary: 'Honestly Marcus has been incredible…he listens he takes on board everything you say and comes back better.'
It seems that the heartfelt song did the trick for Marcus as he he found out at the end of the show that he will be facing off against Little Mix tomorrow night.

However, X Factor supremo Simon Cowell dealt a devastating blow as he announced via Skype that he was a big fan of Little Mix.
The music mogul said on the Xtra Factor: 'If I had to pick a group, I’ve given it away haven’t I? No question or doubt, Little Mix won the night.'
The strong words of support didn't end there for the girls as Simon continued: 'Little Mix were a revelation and if a girl group could win this show, it kind of makes history and maybe something special is going to happen.'
The backing from Cowell will be disappointing for Marcus as Simon still has a big influence on the UK audience even though he isn't a judge on the show anymore.
