You look class! Make-up artist Jodie Lundstram films scenes for new E4 series Desperate Scousewives in Liverpool

First it was The Only Way Is Essex, then Made In Chelsea and Geordie Shore.

Now the North West of England is looking for a slice of the recent 'living soap' phenomenon with new reality show Desperate Scousewives.

The new E4 show started filming in Liverpool today, with make-up artist Jodie Lundstram putting on a flamboyant performance outside Lime Street station.

Dressed in a pink Missoni mini dress and dragging a fuchsia suitcase behind her, the 24-year-old blonde shouted 'Liverpool, I'm back' on the steps of the train station.

According to her Twitter page, Lundstram splits her time between London and Liverpool, hence her shouting outside Lime Street.

Her younger brother John is a footballer player for Everton F.C.'s reserves.

While little is known about her Lundstram just yet, its clear to see she lives a glamorous lifestyle given her wardrobe.

From the look of her Twitter, Jodie is a huge fan of The Only Way Is Essex and saw some of the castmembers in Marbella, Spain this summer.

The new eight-part series will follow some of Liverpool's most glamorous women on a quest to find a husband.

Among those rumoured to be starring alongside Lundstram are local models Chloe Cummings and Amanda Harrington.

Ready for action: Jodie was surrounded by cameras as she prepared to film her bid for fame

Harrington, 30, won Miss Liverpool when she was 16 and has gone on to become a popular pin-up in lads' magazines.

Earlier this year, she shot her 2012 calendar.

Single mother Harrington is a big star in Liverpool and writes her own column for the city's Echo newspaper.

A regular on Merseyside's red carpets, Harrington is friends with many of the local WAGs and was romantically linked to Everton striker Jose Baxter.

Ready for her close-up: Jodie certainly looked ready for her moment in the spotlight

Last year, she denied reports she dated footballer bad boy Joey Barton.

She's also friends with The Only Way Is Essex star Chloe Sims and features in BBC3 show Glamour Girls.

Harrington featured in two episodes of Girls Of The Playboy Mansion when she was invited to pose for Playboy.

Meanwhile, Cummings, 20, is a younger cousin of WAG Abbey Crouch and appeared on Britain's Next Top Model.

Kate Teckman, Channel 4 features commissioning editor, said: 'Liverpool has a unique place in the nation's hearts, the characters are bigger, the dresses are shorter and it's going to be a lorra fun.'

Executive producer Michael Massey also promised access to 'some fantastic characters with fascinating lives and great story lines'.
