Why so shy? Gwyneth Paltrow hides under her silk scarf while out with Matthew Morrison in London
She plays his love interest while guest starring in Glee but Gwyneth Paltrow was playing it coy on a night out with Matthew Morrison in London.
The actress tried to hide from photographers as she was seen leaving the five-star Grosvenor House Hotel at 2am with the 32-year-old hunk.
Morrison, who plays Will Schuester in the hit show, joined Miss Paltrow, 38, for a meal at the Locanda Locatelli restaurant in Marylebone before heading to the hotel for drinks.
But despite the friends catching up while both in London, Miss Paltrow wasn’t happy to be seen out with the actor and covered her face with her silk scarf.
However Morrison seemed more relaxed about being seen with the mother-of-two while heading to the hotel in a taxi.
The pair became friends last year when Miss Paltrow landed her guest role as substitute teacher Holly Holiday on the show, and has since been a hit with fans.
The fellow singers might be spending more time together soon, as Miss Paltrow may also be joining Morrison on his solo tour this summer.
Catching up: Matthew Morrison joined his friend, who he met on the set of Glee, for a meal and drinks in central London
The Glee star is taking to the road in the U.S. on June 18 and is keen for the actress to join him on stage, alongside Elton John.
He said recently: ‘We’re talking about it, it’s just gonna be if our schedules match up.
‘Elton’s really interested and Gwyneth’s interested as well. I’m still in Glee mode right now.
‘We’ll be done at the beginning of May and then we’ll go right into rehearsals.'
Morrison's self-titled album will be released on May 10 and he will be touring more than 20 cities in the U.S during the summer, starting with Minneapolis and ending with Los Angeles.

And despite his friend Miss Paltrow being happily married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, Morrison has recently insisted he is single and not gay.
The former Broadway star told the Daily Mirror: ‘I sing and dance for a living and there is that connotation associated with me. I don’t care, I know the truth.
‘Does it make it difficult to get with women? No. It makes it easier. My time on Broadway was the best.

‘There was a lot of beautiful dancers – and being one of the only straight guys… I kinda had lots of options.’
While Morrison was in the UK, he took some time out to back the launch of a Government campaign that could see Glee clubs started in secondary schools across the country as part of a plan to develop greater musical education and urged people to sign a petition that would help make this possible.
