Making an entrance: The Only Way Is Essex stars Nanny Pat, left, and her granddaughter Jessica Wright, right, arrived at the last day of the three-day-long Essex Fashion Week by helicopter
It was a county once synonymous with white stilettos and mini skirts - but an attempt by Essex to re-style itself as a fashionable destination has fallen somewhat short of its name.
The second ever Essex Fashion Week finished last night - after just three days of events.
It'll need a few more days added to it - and perhaps a few more celebrities - to be mentioned in the same hushed tones by fashionistas as London, Paris or Milan's fashion weeks.
Family fun: The pair both showed their shared love of clothes on the red carpet at the bash, with Nanny looking spruce in purple and Jessica in an extravagant blue dress
Unsurprisingly, the stars of The Only Way Is Essex were out in force - considering Lauren Goodger helped the even'ts CEO Adam Ryan organise the inaugural Essex Fashion Week last autumn.
Jessica Wright, wearing an extravagant bright blue floor length gown ostentatiously flew into the event by helicopter with Nanny Pat.
The singer wrote beforehand on her Twitter: 'Everything is so last minute in my life stressed!!!!!! Getting in a helicopter today at some point apparently. Crazy much!!'
Star studded: The event at Fairlop Lakes olf Club near Chigwell included David Van Day and his wife Sue and Janice Dickinson, who co-hosted the show yesterday
On Friday, Jessica had strutted her stuff on the catwalk for New Look at the event.
Other stars from the show on the event's red carpet yesterday meanwhile included Lauren Pope, Adam Ryan, Kirk Norcross and Simon Ryan.
Other guests were also of the reality TV variety, including Big Brother's Nikki Grahame and former I'm A Celebrity stars David Van Day and Janice Dickinson.
Bride to be: Newly-engaged Lauren Goodger was at the bash as a co-host - but without fiancé Mark Wright
Not chauffeured in: But Lauen and her friends looked a bit chilly as they waited for Lauren's sister to get a pay-and-display parking ticket
Viewers of the first series of the ITV2 show famously saw Lauren her snub love rival Lucy Mecklenburgh from taking part in the catwalk show - even though her Forever Unique designs had been worn by some of the models.
Goodger further annoyed Mecklenburgh when she asked her then-ex-boyfriend Mark Wright to walk down the catwalk with her - even though they had broken up months earlier.
Lad's day out: TOWIE men Adam Ryan, Kirk Norcross and Simon Ryan had scrubbed up for the last day of the event too
However, Mark went on to split from Mecklenburgh before Christmas and proposed to Goodger last week.
Talking in yesterday's Sun, Lauren said: 'I'm still in shock after Mark's proposal....I feel great about it because I was portrayed throughout the first series as the girlfriend who couldn't let go, and this proves that wasn't correct.'
She added: 'We're looking forward to being together now we're engagaed. We haven't set a date but there will be talks - it could be a real TOWIE wedding!'
All white: Lucy Mecklenburgh's dress wasn't normal attire for a dog walker
Reality stars: Nikki Grahame, left in polka dots, and Lauren Pope, right in a plunging dress and leather jacket, showed their different styles at the event
Sam Faiers - who's heart Mark broke - also gave her blessing to the couple. She wrote in the Sun: 'Obviously I now know Mark and Lauren are back together. I've never admitted this before, but I do have feeling for Mark.
'I do feel a bit sad about the situation but I'm not going to come between them. I really hope they are going to be happy together.'
Last season saw the renowned playboy heading off into the night with Sam Faiers, leaving then ex Lauren Goodger and another former lover Lucy Mecklenburgh both in tears.
The new series of The Only Way Is Essex has just started however on ITV2. The show is on Sundays and Wednesdays at 10pm.
