Demi Moore skips chilly Berlin premiere to relax in sunny St Barts with Ashton Kutcher

Better than Berlin? Demi Moore skips the premiere of Margin Call to holiday with Ashton Kutcher in St Barts

For many of us an opportunity to walk the red carpet at a movie premiere would be unmissable.

But Demi Moore chose to skip her latest film opening in favour of a relaxing vacation with husband Ashton Kutcher in St Barts.

As the stars of Margin Call signed autographs at the Berlin Film Festival, Demi was reclining in bright sunshine on a yacht.

Having attended dozens of premieres over the years, the 48-year-old actress perhaps thought a holiday was the better option.

Demi can perhaps be excused for her absence - she has only a small role in the financial thriller.

Time for a break: The jet-setting pair have had a whirlwind few weeks promoting Ashton's hit movie No Strings Attached; in which he stars with Natalie Portman

The break comes after a busy few weeks accompanying Ashton around the world as he promoted his hit movie No Strings Attached, which also stars Natalie Portman.

In recent weeks the couple have visited cities including Paris and London on the round of interviews and premieres, with a break to attend the Superbowl in Texas.

Going it alone: The couple carried their own bags as they headed to their hotel

There was also a trip to Brazil, where Demi cheered Ashton on as he walked the catwalk, and a few days spent at the Sundance Festival.

This followed on from a December vacation in Egypt for the jet-setting pair.

But while the frequent travel might be exciting, it is also tiring, and Demi looked ready for a break as she snuggled up to Ashton today.

The actress wore a scarf knotted around her neck, with chinos and a white shirt.
Ashton went for a low-key look in a white T-shirt and green baseball cap.

Missing out: Demi could have been braving the cold at the Berline Film Festival with co-stars Zachary Quinto, Kevin Spacy, Jeremy Irons, Paul Bettany and film director JC Chandor
