Good news: Kerry Katona is feeling better than ever after passing her latest drugs test during her new show
Kerry Katona is determined to portray her clean-cut new image on her latest reality TV series - and even went as far as taking a drugs test in front of the cameras.
The 30-year-old’s new ITV2 show, Kerry Katona Coming Clean, aired its first episode last night, in an effort to show a new side of the fallen pop star.
Speaking frankly about her drug habit and dark days, she opened up on the programme and decided to film a drugs test to prove to viewers that she has kicked her addiction.
Test results: Kerry holds onto her cup of urine while waiting for the results of the drug test alongside Claire Powell from her management team Can Associates
She sat with Claire Powell, from her new management company Can Associates, as she waited for her urine test to declare the results.
As the results showed no traces of drugs, Kerry jumped up and danced around in excitement.
And now that her addiction is in the past, Kerry made sure to show her reformed image by posing for a photoshoot in a skimpy black ensemble to prove how far she's come.
During the show she also admitted that she’d stayed with her estranged husband Mark Croft for a lot longer than she wanted after fearing that he’d tell newspapers of her drug taking.
And her honesty seems to have worked, as viewers took to Twitter to praise Kerry on the social networking site.

Bankruptcy: Kerry Katona is forced to sell her Cheshire home because of financial woes, here she talks to Claire Powell from her management company about her move to Surrey
One fan wrote: ‘I think it’s pretty brave to admit what a mess you’ve made of your life and then try and fix it on TV.’
While another posted: ‘Just watched Kerry Katona Coming Clean from last night, an amazing person, I take my hat off to her.’
Kerry also spoke openly about her bankruptcy, saying she ‘got through’ £10million in five years during her marriage to Mark Croft but still has no idea where the money went.
The mother-of-four, who suffers from Bipolar disorder, said she’d been on strong medication during the time Mark, 39, had been in charge of their finances.
And a sad Kerry was filmed as she was forced to sell her luxurious Cheshire home due to her financial strife.
Leaving Cheshire to move south to Surrey was part of her deal with her management company, who also represent Peter Andre.
New addiction: Kerry swaps her unhealthy lifestyle for healthy eating and the gym in an effort to turn her life around
Family time: The mother-of-four says family is the most important part of her life, as she holds her son
The former cocaine addict is also made to undergo regular drug testing as part of the deal with Can, and declared on air that her only new addiction is the gym.
Kerry made sure to be filmed while working out, to show her new found passion for fitness and health and is determined to maintain her new slim line shape.
The series is set to track Kerry’s full road to recovery and will no doubt help with her financial troubles too.
Her latest show is a far cry from the Kerry Katona who appeared on her MTV reality TV show Crazy In Love, which followed the star and Mark Croft, and also showed Kerry at her lowest point.
