No sweat: Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan heads for her first day at a new gym in Wilmslow yesterday showing off even shorter hair
She's provoked a mixed reaction to her new look - but Helen Flanagan has chosen to ignore the naysayers and go even more extreme with her makeover.
The 20-year-old star, who plays Rosie Webster, has now had her bleached blonde hair cut even shorter into an even more extreme pixie cut.
However, it seems she's concentrating more on her body than her hair - and was seen heading to the gym for the first time yesterday.
She was seen arriving at a private gym in Wilmslow, dressed in tight black leggings with a £113 grey and fuchsia sequin jumper from Katie Price's Day 22 clothing line.
Writing on her Twitter earlier this week, she confessed: 'Ok my love affair with chocos has had to break off. No more flabby beaver x joining gym tommorow x'
Helen is currently trying out her new look while she takes a break from the show.
Short of it: The soap star showed off an even shorter haircut than before as she parked up her new £70,000 Range Rover
Out and about: The star was also spotted shopping in Alderley Edge this week in heels and skintight jeans
Coincidence: The Corrie star was spotted today walking past Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini today as he lunched in and Alderley Edge cafe
She apparently signed a new £70,000 a year deal in March and is due to head back onto the cobbles later this year, with bosses thinking of ways or writing her new look into the show.
It seems like she's been using the new income by investing it wisely too.
She's just bought a £70,000 Range Rover and a new flat.
However, she revealed on her Twitter that she is having a few teething troubles at her apartment.
She wrote on her Twitter: 'Have to have a hot bath as im freezing havnt worked out my heating in my appartment yet tragic really.'
Helen is set to head to London meanwhile this Sunday for the BAFTA TV Awards at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane.
Coronation Street is up again EastEnders, Waterloo Road and Casualty in the Continuing Drama category.
She was seen looking at outfits to wear for the bash last week on a shopping trip near her home - where her hair looked considerably longer than yesterday.
Rosie, who has been on Corrie for 11 years, was previously known for her long brunette hair and more glamorous image, but has decided to go for a much edgier look on her break from the show.
Longer locks: The star was spotted with somewhat longer hair as she shopped in Wilmslow for a BAFTAs outfit last week
