Halle Berry was rushed to hospital in Los Angeles last night following an accident on the set of her latest movie, it has been claimed.

It is believed that Halle hit her head on some concrete after taking a nasty fall while shooting The Hive in the city.

The mother-of-one, who had appeared in good spirits while filming earlier in the day, was rushed to the Cedars-Sinai Hospital in LA shortly after the incident occurred at around 10pm last night.

A spokesperson for the actress said she has since been released from hospital, adding in a statement: 'Halle Berry suffered a minor head injury while shooting a fight sequence on the set of her film, The Hive.

'She was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but she checked out healthy and was released. She'll continue production as planned.'

Following the accident, the set was shut down soon afterwards.

Earlier in the day, Halle, 45, looked happy and cheery as she waved to fans while the crew set up shots on location in southern central Los Angeles.

The thriller, which is set against the backdrop of a 911 call centre, also stars Abigail Breslin, who first shot to fame in Little Miss Sunshine.

Halle plays a 911 emergency operator who takes a call from a teenage girl, who has been abducted and carried away in the boot of a car.

It's not the first time Halle has been injured while filming.

In 2011, Halle broke her foot while filming the movie adaptation of David Nicholls' novel Cloud Atlas in Spain.

Meanwhile, the actress is currently embroiled in an intense custody battle for Nahla with former boyfriend, Calvin Klein model Gabriel Aubry.

The Monster's Ball star has hired the best legal guns in LA and taken Gabriel to court dozens of times in a bid to gain full custody of Nahla.

The actress has said she wants to move with her daughter to France to live with actor fiancé, Olivier Martinez.

The case is due to go to trial in a later this month and the parents are expected to take the stand against one another.

As a brand ambassador for Revlon, each year Halle Berry takes part in the cosmetics company's annual women's cancer fund raising walk.

But this year, the superstar actress decided to give participants a good laugh by quite literally making a boob of herself.

Dressed in jeans, a white T-shirt and black Revlon jacket, the 45-year-old grabbed her breasts and played to the cameras today in Los Angeles.

The Monster's Ball actress was among tens of thousands of people who hit the pavement for the 2012 annual Entertainment Industry Foundation's Revlon Run/Walk for Women, at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

Over the past 19 years, the event has raised more than $65 million to fund breast and ovarian cancer research.

'Of course it's true'! Olivier Martinez confirms his engagement to Halle Berry

Happy couple: Olivier Martinez smiled broadly as he confirms he has gotten engaged to Halle Berry who has been sporting an emerald ring on her finger for several weeks

There had been rumours over the past few weeks that Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez had gotten engaged after she was seen wearing an emerald ring.

But now the French actor has confirmed that they are indeed planning to tie the knot.

Martinez was at the opening of his new restaurant Villa Azur in South Beach last night when he spoke of the happy news.

It's official: The couple's relationship has steadily grown over the past few months

'Yes, of course it's true,' the 46-year-old told The Miami Herald proudly.

But Martinez also wanted to dispel a report from a jeweller who had been bragging he had designed the ring for the bride-to-be.

'There is a jeweller taking credit for doing the ring and it's a lie,' he said. 'They have nothing to do with this.'

The sparkler was actually designed by Robert Mazlo who is a Parisian jeweller based in Saint-Germain-de-Pres.

Martinez said he was a 'real artist' who made jeweller for 'kings and queens for many centuries.'

This will be Halle's third marriage after failed relationships with former baseball star David Justice and soul singer Eric Benét.

She has a three-year-old daughter, Nahla, with Canadian model Gabriel Aubry although the pair are currently embroiled in a bitter custody dispute. Olivier has grown very close to the little girl and they have often been seen playing together and being affectionate towards each other.

Halle's ex Gabriel Aubry has allegedly filed legal documents that might require her to pay through the nose for his lifestyle.

He is said to have asked for $15,000 - $20,000 a month so that he can provide a proper home for his little girl.

A dependency judge still has to decide whether or not some of Aubry's custody rights will be taken away.

Halle is said to be pushing to have the right to take Nahla to France where she wants to set up a home there with Olivier.

Nahla clearly enjoyed having an audience and showed off her skills on a rope swing during a day at the beach.

The touching scenes came amid the ugly custody battle raging between Halle and her ex Gabriel Aubry.


Reports surfaced yesterday that Aubry has 'agreed to take anger management classes' following an incident where he is alleged to have 'pushed' his daughter's nanny.

And the US website also report that the LA County Department of Children and Family Services have recommended counselling for Nahla.

According to TMZ, the 36-year-old male model and his former girlfriend spent hours yesterday with representatives from the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services.

It is claimed by sources that social workers concluded Aubry 'needed to work on his anger issues.'

TMZ claim that the DCFS recommended Aubry take anger management classes and sources say he 'agreed to enrol.'

A law enforcement source connected with the case told the website: 'Gabriel has a little bit of a temper, but the good news is that he realises it.'

The recommendation stems from an incident earlier this month in which Gabriel allegedly pushed the nanny while she was holding three-year-old Nahla.

Halle was advised to seek professional help after the nanny claimed Gabriel screams at the child and violently yanked Nahla from her arms.

In turn, Gabriel is asking for a restraining order as he believes she's inventing lies to side with Halle.

The couple are due in court today.

As well as spending time as a pair Olivier and Nahla made their way back to where Halle was sat.

The actress, who broke her foot last September, was sat watching her boyfriend and her daughter bonding.

The actress was dressed in a grey top with bright green Zebra's printed on the front and had her jeans rolled up.

It also had the three-year-old's name emblazoned on the top of the plaster in purple pen.

Halle Berry got in some early Mother's Day fun with her daughter Nahla today as they spent a delightful afternoon playing in a Beverly Hills park.

The mother and daughter duo had a fun day in the California sunshine and the adorable three-year-old giggled and laughed as Halle pushed her on the swing.

Wanting to get in on the action, Halle then placed Nahla on her lap and went for a trip down the slide.
