Jennifer Love Hewitt rocks the casual look before adding a touch of glamour for evening

Day to night: Jennifer Love Hewitt looked stylish attending a gifting suite at the London hotel and then a party at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles yesterday


It seems that Jennifer Love Hewitt is not one of those girls who struggles to pick out something to wear.

The actress selected not one but two perfectly accessorised outfits yesterday.

To spend the day in Los Angeles with boyfriend Alex Beh she teamed a crisp white shirt with denim jeans and heels, before switching to an embellished black dress and oversized clutch for evening.


Jennifer was dressed-to-the-nines for W Magazine's Celebration of The Best Performances Issue and The Golden Globes held at at Chateau Marmont.

Jennifer is nominated for Best Actress in a Miniseries/TV Movie for her starring role as a suburban housewife-turned-call girl in Lifetime's The Client List.

Earlier in the day she and Beh were first spotted leaving the GBK Golden Globes Gift Lounge at the London Hotel.

Dressed in a pair of high-waisted flared jeans and a simple white shirt, Jennifer looked the essence of casual chic.

Clutching a leather and lace bowling bag, the Party of Five actress was beaming as she held on tight to Beh's hand.

Jennifer went public with the news she was dating the 27-year-old actor and director in November last year.

Ever since, the couple have been smitten and just recently went on a romantic New Year holiday in Hawaii together.

Last night, Jennifer continued her fashion triumphs by slipping into an elegant and understated black dress, which featured embellishment detail on the bodice.

The tanned brunette paired the look with very high black patent leather platforms and a clutch bag.

She was joined by a flurry of other big names who are all gearing up for the Golden Globes ceremony tomorrow night.

Nominees such as Mila Kunis all slipped into their finest for the bash.

The Black Swan star who is nominated for a Best Supporting Actress award looked sultry in a sequinned low-cut blouse paired with a pair of simple black trousers.

Two of the 27-year-old fellow nominees were also at the event.


Belles of the ball: Tron Legacy star Olivia Wilde and singer and actress Juliette Lewis added some splashes of colour to the night


Amy Adams post baby body was flattered by her green and black fitted foil frock.

The 36-year-old red-head is nominated for her role as Charlene Fleming in the biographical sports film.

Fellow nominee Helena Bohnam Carter arrived in her standard unusual flair.

While The King's Speech actress slipped into a more understated black dress, she accessoriesed with a quirky bright red lips clutch and a lacy facinator.

Best Actress nominee Julianne Moore also opted for black, but went for a sharp low-cut sheath.

Tron Legacy star Olivia Wilde looked dazzling in a nude and gold gown with her hair loosely tied back.

And Juliette Lewis added a splash of colour in a form fitting fuchsia strapless frock.

A stand out invitee in the crowd was Jenna Jameson, who was almost unrecognisable.

The porn star, who has admitted in the past to over doing it with plastic surgery, squeezed into a shiny leopard print gown.

Other guests at the party included The King's Speech Best Actor nominee, Colin Firth who was accompanied by his wife Livia Giuggioli, Entourage actress Perrey Reeves and The Kids Are Alright actor Mark Ruffalo.
