Miss World Brazil 2012/ Miss Mundo Brasil
The Miss World Brazil 2012 final pageant was held in Porto Alegre on April 2nd.
Mariana Notarangelo from Rio de Janeiro was crowned Miss World Brazil 2012 or Miss Mundo Brasil 2012. Mariana Notarangelo is 22 year old and stands 1.75 m. She will represent Brazil to compete in Miss World 2012 pageant in Ordos, China.
Camila Serakides won the first runner-up. And Karine Barros won the second runner-up. Mariana who comes from Duque de Caxias is a student of Medicine. In 2010 she won the title of International Queen of Coffee in Manizales (Colombia) and in 2011 was also the winner of the Miss Global Beauty Quest competition held in Seoul (Korea).
Six finalists competed in the finals of this special edition of the contest held to select a candidate for Miss World due to the change of date.
The Miss World Brazil 2013 competition will take place at the Portobello Resort in Rio de Janeiro on September 22nd.
