Lisa Snowdon looks red hot at 40 as she celebrates her birthday with Hollywood A-lister Matt Damon

Lady in red: Lisa Snowdon celebrated her 40th birthday in London last night and was joined by Matt Damon


It was a good thing that Lisa Snowdon didn't have an early start this morning on her breakfast show.

The Capital FM presenter was out late in London last night to celebrate her 40th birthday and was turning heads with the sultry outfit that she wore to Portland Place.

The birthday girl, who is still officially 39 until Monday, was dressed to impress in a floor-length red gown that showed off her slender and toned legs.


One of the key features of the dress was a huge thigh high split down the right hand side which added the sex factor to the racy number.

Lisa, who wore her long brunette locks down and had on heavy eyeliner, was quite rightly the centre of attention until a much bigger name happened to drop in at the party.

Hollywood actor Matt Damon arrived at the party in a smart black suit and a black shirt and left many party-goers open mouthed in amazement that such a big star would attend Lisa's birthday.

The Bourne Ultimatum star was joined by his wife, Luciana Barroso, who looked elegant in a long aqua-blue coloured dress and posed for pictures with Lisa.

It is thought that the 41-year-old Oscar winner met Snowdon when she dated silver haired heartthrob George Clooney from 2000 to 2005.

George and Matt worked on Ocean's Eleven and Ocean's Twelve during that time and Lisa would have hung out with them and other stars including Brad Pitt before her on and off relationship with the ER star ended.

Despite being one of Hollywood's highest paid actors, the talented Mr Damon arrived without a present and without a card for the birthday girl.

However, with his superstar status we are sure Lisa didn't mind and judging from her hotel trolley she had received a lot of gifts from other people.

She was also presented with a three tier birthday cake that was covered in red icing and black lace.

Good morning: Lisa left her party and headed back to her hotel in the early hours of this morning

After the party had finished, Snowden, still looking radiant, and a group of friends went back to her hotel for a small after-party.

All of the gifts she had been given were unloaded from the taxi and placed by a bell boy on a trolley for the TV presenter.

Among the presents was some skin care cream, perfume, and Grey Goose vodka.


Present time: Amongst all the presents given to her it appears somebody gave her batteries which are on the table
