An Essex boy no longer? Mark Wright 'quits TOWIE in quest for more fame'

By Lucy Buckland

It seems self proclaimed lothario Mark Wright has finally grown out of being an Essex boy.

The reality TV star has reportedly quit the show which made him famous after signing with a new agent who has tempted him with 'lucrative deals'.

Or perhaps the 24-year-old has simply run out of co-stars to date.

The ladies man, who has won an army of admirers and a heap of criticism for his treatment of several women on the ITV show, is said to keen to become more famous -according to The People.

And it seems Mark, 24, is not the only TOWIE star to quit, as his on-off love interest Sam Faiers is also reported to be leaving, to star in the next series of Celebrity Big Brother.

A source close to Mark told The People: 'Mark is looking at other projects which are bigger than TOWIE so he will be leaving at the end of this series.

'He considered doing a forth series but decided against it as it will hold him back a year.'

And 20-year-old Sam, who was seen last week going on a 'date' with Mark is said to be very interested in an offer made by CBB bosses to get her on the show.

The People reports will also star in another show with sister Billie based around her Brentwood boutique.

And sources told the paper TOWIE bosses are already starting to worry about the next series with the loss of two of its main stars.

Vajazzling queen Amy Childs left the show last year to star in Celebrity Big Brother and has now landed her own reality show It's All About Amy.

No one from TOWIE was available for comment.
