Wham! Bam I’m your man! Mark Wright channels his inner George Michael in 80’s inspired briefs

Club Tropicana? Mark Wright was channeling his inner George Michael in Ibiza earlier this month donning a pair of tiny pants


It’s an iconic shot taken at the height of Wham fame with George Michael standing on a beach in a pair of tight briefs showing off his tanned body.

And now more than 20 years on Mark Wright has recreated the image donning his own pair of tiny pants, this time black Y-fronts, as he soaked up the sunshine in Ibiza.

The TOWIE star, 24, showed off his bronzed body, which is just as dark as Michael's in the original shot, in the budgie smuggler style underpants as he spent time by the pool earlier this month.


It seems that Mark wanted as much flesh on show, showing off the effects of the bootcamp he was attending during his holiday.

And it certainly seems that the reality star has improved muscle definition with sculpted shoulders, biceps and a toned stomach, although no six pack was visible.

But in his attempts to show off his body beautiful he was probably unaware of his appearance bearing a striking resemblance to George in the photo, which was an iconic image of the mid-1980's.

Topping up your tan? The reality star, 24, had been taking part in a bootcamp on the island before filming the third series of TOWIE but he also squeezed in time to work on his tan


Mark, who recently split from his fiancée Lauren Goodger, was seen listening to music, topping up his tan and chatting with friends.

The nightclub promoter interrupted his tanning time to joke around with his friends and an unsuspecting female around the pool.

And Mark was in hysterics as his friend fondled the girl's chest, but she didn't look like she minded too much.

The former footballer attended the bootcamp on the party island ahead of filming the third series of TOWIE, which returns to screens on Sunday.

Last night Mark celebrated the new series by heading out to Essex with his cast members Arg and Billie Faiers as well as his former flame Sam.
