Need some help with your towel Rihanna? One lucky man comes to bikini-clad singer's aid as she relaxes on Brazilian beach

Brazilian bikini: Rihanna gets some help from a friend on the beach tucking in her towel as she relaxed on the beach in Rio de Janeiro on Tuesday

Even a world singing superstar like Rihanna needs a bit of help sometimes.

And the 23-year-old star was grateful when one lucky man came to her aid earlier this week, when he helped her tuck her slipping towel round her waist as she relaxed on a Brazilian beach.

Wearing a patterned strapless bikini and with her long curly hair tied up with a headscarf, the star waited patiently for the friend to wrap the striped towel around her in Rio de Janeiro.

Rihanna was taking time out from her grueling world tour to relax on the sandy South American beach with a group of friends.

The singer showed off her taut stomach and enviable curves in the pretty two-piece which she teamed with with a black and white head scarf, giant silver hoop earrings and a pair of ray ban sunglasses.

She was clearly enjoying her afternoon in the sun, sipping on Caiprinihas, specialty Brazilian cocktails made with rum, lime and sugar.

And taking advantage of the many vendors trawling the beach selling their wares and services to tourists, she had a henna tattoo inked on her left hand and forearm.

She also browsed the extensive collection of colourful bikinis being sold by another seaside salesman.

Rihanna is also said to have made sandcastles and enjoyed a few coconut ice creams on her day out.

The star was clearly enjoying some relaxation after a couple of successful shows in the country.

On Saturday night she performed in Sao Paulo before heading to Brasilia for a show on Monday.

Her final Brazilian date will take place in Rio tomorrow night before the tour heads across the pond to begin the British leg, staring in Northern Ireland on September 29.
