Reports say Arnold is hoping to win back Maria

Lots to talk about: Patrick Schwarzenegger was spotted making his way back from yet another lunch with his shamed father at Cafe Roma in Beverly Hills today

It seems that Arnold Schwarzenegger and his son Patrick have a lot to talk about.

The Terminator's 17-year-old teenager was spotted making his way back from yet another lunch with his shamed father at Cafe Roma in Beverly Hills, today.

The outing comes as reports emerge that the Terminator is trying to win his estranged wife Maria Shriver back.

According to website PopEater.com, Arnold has been trying everything to get Maria to take him back.

'He knows he has made terrible mistakes in his past but isn't prepared to lose the greatest woman in his life,' a friend of the former Governor told the website.

'This has nothing to do with money or the children, he misses her terribly and will do whatever it takes to win her back. Even begging.'

Apparently Arnold is hoping that all Maria needs is time to reconsider reconciliation, even though both have hired top divorce lawyers.

The former couple are even said to be still even talking.

'They talk all the time and no matter how stupid he has been you don't just throw away a marriage,' the source said.

In the last few days, Arnold appears to have been trying to mend fences with his son.

The two also had lunch at Los Angeles restaurant Toscana last Friday.

But on that very day, his love child with his former housekeeper had to miss his middle school graduation because of the fallout from the scandal.

Schwarzenegger and Patrick were spotted driving away from the eatery all smiles in a Bentley sports car but the actions of the former California Governor continues to have a ripple effect.

The two were spotted out in Los Angeles together last week for the first time since the 63-year-old actor turned politician confirmed the news last month that he fathered a secret love child.

While Schwarzenegger is going to great strides to make things right with Patrick, his illegitimate son, Joseph, is having to stay in hiding - including missing out on graduating with his classmates.

A source close to Schwarzenegger’s 50-year-old former mistress revealed to celebrity website TMZ that the graduation ceremony took place Friday morning at Joseph's school and ‘his name was even on the program.

Meeting: The pair also reunited the day before on Thursday, enjoying lunch at Fred Segals in Hollywood

But the young boy ‘wasn’t present because the family didn’t want him parading around in public.’

The source also revealed that Baena and her family ‘desperately want the whole scandal to blow over asap so their lives can return to normal.’

According to RadarOnline Mildred Baena and her son and hiding out in a small rural town outside Dallas in Texas.

'They visited a family friend,' one source told the celebrity website.

Another added: 'It was Mildred, not Arnold, who made the decision that she should leave California and travel, including, at one point, hiding out in Texas, as details of the scandal unfolded.'

Schwarzenegger's revelation has also ended his 25 year marriage to Maria Shriver who is set to file official divorce papers any day now.

Patrick reacted to the news of his father’s infidelity and illegitimate child by changing his last name to Shriver on his Twitter account

He insists, however, he loves his family and will continue to stand by his father.

He took to his Twitter the day after the scandal broke saying, ‘Some days you feel like shit, some days you want to quit and just be normal for a bit, yet I love my family till death do us apart.’
